Shapes


Recognising shapes is one of the first steps in building math skills with your child. As they explore shapes, they are understanding the same and different. This is important because it will help them observe and compare everything that they see in their lives. Shapes are meaningful to young children because they are everywhere. They will start noticing square windows, circular stepping stones, triangular signs. Truly, shapes can be found all day, everywhere.
