Create a Chihuly inspired set of sculptures.
Coffee filters can be transformed into colorful glass inspired 'Baskets' by blending and painting the filters until reaching the look you want. These 'Baskets' can then be molded into shape by holding in place either by folding creases into the filter or using pva glue to dry into the shape you are looking for.
Your glass sculptures can then be layered into more complicated sculptures by sitting one into the other just as Chihuly does with his larger glass sculptures.
